BIOGRAPHY:
Hearts Alive was formed in the summer of -05 after Miss Mofet and Burning Phoenix came to an end. The main goal was to do something different from the members prevoius bands, so they started to rehearse and the result became a mix of hardcore, punk and metal. Drawing influences from all the different styles trying to make it into their own sound!

In the beginning of –06 Hearts Alive recorded their first demo and started to send them out for reviews, shows and promotion! The response was quite good, and more and more shows where coming in! By the release of the demo, they felt it would be an good idea to try and recruit a singer, since they felt that the live performance was abit lame due to the fact that Daniel (guitar) also did vocals at the same time. So at a show the guys meet Jonas P that some of them had known for a while. He had also been in a hardcore band back in the day called Trickshot! A day later he joined the band!

The demo led Hearts Alive to sign with Pretty Dirty Promotion, for a show/booking deal!

Fast forward to summer of –06! Hearts Alive recorded their second demo called “Assassinate The Heart” and the band got more and more attention! After a while and different talks with different labels a deal with Dead Vibrations Industry got signed. Hearts Alive now started to work on their debut full-length “The Tragedy In Us”.

The 2:nd guitarist at the time were not able to put in as much time in the band as the rest of the crew, due to working with Soilwork. So Hearts Alive had been playing as a 4-piece on several shows, but for a show at Punchfest the band asked Dan S. to join in on 2:nd guitar. He now became a full-time member.

Fall –06, Hearts Alive began writing the full-length and the band took a kind of a new direction, it became alot heavier and more technical but without losing the foundation that the band had already built! The 11 tracks where recorded with Carl Wikman at EAR in Uppsala Nov –06 and became what the band had hoped for all the time! A mix between todays metalcore bands and melodic hardcore.

In the beginning of -08, we replaced our singer and we introduced Jesper P to the lineup!
