THE REVIEW:
Congratulations are in order for the ideal website address. And for coming up with some kick-ass rock. This is the latest ass whooping by Finnish indie rockers, Mary.
So they just opened up a can of whoop-ass and it´s spilling around like there´s no tomorrow. They´re a very tight unit of aggressive rock for folks who are into the likes of Motorhead and others who have followed. That´s just because Motorhead came first. The biggest problem for international rock fans might be the language of choice, which is of course Finnish. But then again I don´t think Mary has their eyes set on reaching worldwide fame in the first place. But that doesn´t mean international rock fans shouldn´t check this out. Because you should. Trust me on this.
This MCD is all about five songs of intense rock with a shade of metal, played in a determined manner and there´s no room for pussy-ass ballads or emotional moments. So if alternative emo is what you´re expecting, you can go to Hell. This is the kind of stuff that grows hair on your chest and it don´t matter if you´re a boy or a girl. Folks, you should see my chest some day. I´m not allowed to go near an open fire anymore!
The band has been in action for over a decade and have independently produced a load of releases. Experience, attitude and huge balls combined with excellent production values create something that you can certainly feel in your bones. Mary strikes hard and they ain´t f**king around.
