Seitseman Surman Siunausliitto
Rytmihairio
THE REVIEW:
Rytmihairio is a Finnish deathcore band which was formed already in 1988. When the band was formed the main influences were Napalm Death and classic Finnish HC bands like Rattus, Kaaos, Riistetyt etc. From those days only bassist Ande and drummer Otto have remained the same and the band has struggled with numerous different vocalist and guitarist changes during the years. The first CD was ´Surman Siipien Havinaa´ in 1991 through Spinefarm Records. Between 1992 and 1998 the band was six years on a hiatus but it was reformed. Now after releasing different EPs the band went to studio and unleashed their second full-length ´Saatana On Herra´ (Satan Is Lord) on February 2005 through If Society/Thrash and Burn/Rönötönttö records. Year 2006 has been really good for the band so far. First the band inked a deal with Sakara Records and now the band´s third album ´Seitseman Surman Siunausliitto´ which saw the release date on October 18th is out.
´Saatana On Herra´ showed that Rytmihairio is here for good. The band´s old fanbase woke up from it´s sleep and with the release they gained a lot of new fans as well. ´Seitseman Surman Siunausliitto´ continues where ´Saatana On Herra´ ends and it contains speeding old school hardcore-crust with thrashing riffs just kicking, grinding and screaming all the way. The nice fierce vocals and raging grinding drums make the album sound nothing but brutal as f*ck! Drummer Otto really knows how to beat the shit out from his double pedals while making those nice pedal attacks that fit perfectly into the dark and desperate atmosphere. The lyrics are again based on poverty and to people who live outside the society. Alcohol, death and satan are the usual subjects what the band deals on ´Seitseman Surman Siunausliitto´. Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom) has also did some guest vocals into the fifth track on the album ´Pyorilla Kulkeva Kuoleman Enkeli´ and the song is definitely one of the best songs on the album.
Rytmihairio´s new ´Seitseman Surman Siunausliitto´ is an album that doesn´t leave anyone cold. The pissed off attitude where the band is known from continues throughout the record. For the fans of the band this album will be like a dream come true and I am quite sure that a lot of grindcore fans will find something good out of this release. Because of the Finnish language this doesn´t fit to our foreign users but in case you´re Finnish, Rytmihairio´s ´Seitseman Surman Siunausliitto´ is a must purchase. Get it and start moshing!
