THE REVIEW:
The act called Verenn sent us a EP Awake couple of weeks ago. Now I have finally had time to listen this 3 tracks long album. This is Verenn's second release and despite of few tracks the package is full of melodic rock. Every track is unique so I can't really say that ”all them sounds a like”. There is really no point of making a million tracks which all are clones of each other. Verenn's sound is fresh and mixed up with rough playing and fine keyboard tunes. This mix feels good and it is a real pleasure to listen how guys give their best.
The Album is a real quality set and my personal favorite track is Awake( named after album or album named after track ) which has so awesome keyboard mixed just right in the song so it supports the flowing guitar riffs spiced with excellent lyrics. These ingredients makes this track the best track in album of course every track in this album is good and the choice was hard to make. Verenn's guys has made wonderful job with this newest album and every song has a spirit of dedication to music.
This album has earned its place in www.hardcoresounds.net I'm certain that we shall hear from these guys. All the good folks of rock people should buy this album and listen to the great musical fireworks of Verenn.

I would consider 4 points to this album. It´s quite nice but not as great as you can read on this review ;)
